Today is Ascension Sunday. At my church this morning, the pastor
talked about the majesty, the mastery, and the ministry that relates to
Christ’s ascension to heaven. He said that Christ in heaven prays for
us. Do I believe that? I’m not in the mood to nit-pick or over-think
it right now. I’m sleepy. I have work to do today. Frankly, I can use
all the prayer I can get. So, yes, today, I’m going to trust that
Jesus is in heaven praying for me!
Luke 22:21-21: “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”
