Was anyone else excited to see Daphne from Frasier on Desperate Housewives tonight—as Tom and Lynette’s therapist? Okay, she didn’t play Daphne, but it’s ironic that she’s a therapist, the same job as her husband on Frasier.
I thought it was awesome how all the ladies forgave Katherine. Of course, she was repentant, since she felt she didn’t deserve forgiveness. But it’s still slightly surprising.
On Brothers and Sisters, Sarah is finally dating a normal guy. And he’s a Republican, to boot! It was strange, though, how the liberals in the family were backing him up on the need for schools to search students’ back-packs, whereas Kitty (the conservative) was backing up Sarah on civil liberties. I hope Sarah doesn’t call that French guy.
Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Day, and I don’t know what to write for a post. But I’ll be taping a bunch of movies about him: a documentary by Tom Brokaw, the three-part miniseries starring Paul Winfield, and Boycott, which has Jeffrey Wright (Syriana, Lady in the Water, W). I won’t be watching all of them tomorrow. I may see the Brokaw documentary, while saving the other two for Black History Month.
