The New New Deal: Slate's Interview with Michael Grunwald

Time Magazine correspondent Michael Grunwald has a new book out about President Barack Obama's stimulus, The New New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama Era.  Click here to read Slate's excellent interview with Grunwald.  In this interview, Grunwald discusses such issues as where Obama's stimulus succeeded, where it's been inadequate, where it resembles the New Deal, and yet how a New Deal like that of the 1930's is not entirely feasible today.  Grunwald also touches on GOP inconsistencies regarding stimulus and Keynesianism.  Grunwald argues that the stimulus has had concrete results, particularly in the area of green energy.
